My Madison CT studio has been busy with lots of newborn baby boys lately! Meet, Jack, 10 days new. I actually photographed mom and dad when they were expecting Jack and was so excited to meet him this past week. He was seriously so sweet and soooo strong! Born on June 15th, Jack was 7 lbs and 3 oz – a perfect bundle of joy for mom and dad.
With every newborn photography session I send out a short little questionnaire for the parents to fill out to help me prepare and customize the session for the family. One of my favorite questions that I ask is what was the first thing you thought when you met your baby for the first time and what this mom wrote had me melting: “He’s the softest thing I’ve ever touched.”
Sweetest thing about Jack’s session was the white outfit that Jack’s dad and his siblings were brought home in – since dad was born at over 9 lbs, Jack didn’t quiet fill it out but I think that made this photo even sweeter. What a wonderful memory for the family <3
