Shoreline CT Newborn Photographer
Families along the Connecticut shoreline have been making the short drive to my Madison studio for over 13 years. From Guilford and Branford to Clinton, Old Saybrook, Killingworth and beyond — parents who want a calm, fully guided newborn experience keep finding their way here, and I’m glad they do.
Madison sits right in the middle of the shoreline, which makes it a natural home base for families across the region. My studio is a quick, easy drive from most shoreline towns — close enough to be convenient, and worth the trip for parents who want something more than a rushed session in a generic space.

A Studio Built for New Parents
Walking into a newborn session with a brand new baby can feel like a lot. My goal is to make it the opposite of stressful. The studio is warm, quiet, and fully stocked — wraps, props, outfits, headbands, all of it is here. You don’t need to bring anything except your baby.
I’m NAPCP certified as a Master Newborn Photographer, which means safety and posing technique are things I’ve spent years focusing on. Every session is baby-led and unhurried. If your baby needs to eat, we stop. If they need to be settled, we settle them. There’s no clock pressure and no rushing through poses.
Parents often tell me afterward that they got to actually relax and enjoy it — which, with a newborn at home, is probably a rare thing.
Session Options
Every family is unique and I offer several session options to match your style and needs.
Wrapped Mini Newborn Session
Your baby stays cozy and swaddled throughout. Short, sweet, and budget friendly.

Signature Newborn Session
The full experience, including parent and sibling portraits. This is our most popular option.
Lifestyle Newborn Session
Less props, more natural connection. Still in the studio, still fully guided — just a softer, more documentary feel.

Heirloom Keepsake Newborn Package
It’s everything you get with a Signature or Lifestyle package plus all images, an album and a keepsake box with all your images printed in color.
When to Book
Most families book during their second trimester so there’s a date lined up before baby arrives. Sessions typically happen when babies are between 5 and 21 days old, though I photograph babies outside that window too and adjust posing to keep them comfortable.
If your baby is already here and you haven’t booked yet, reach out anyway. I keep a small number of openings each month for last-minute sessions.

A Few Questions Shoreline Families Often Ask
Do we need to bring anything? Nothing at all. I’ll send you a simple style guide before your session so you know what to wear, but everything else is here.
Can siblings and parents be included? Absolutely. Some sessions include family portraits automatically and others have the option to add them — I’ll go over all of that when you inquire.
What if my baby is fussy? Completely normal and nothing to worry about. We work at your baby’s pace. Feeding breaks, settling time, whatever is needed — there’s no rush.
How far is the studio from shoreline towns? Madison is right in the middle of the shoreline. Most towns are a short, easy drive — Guilford about 10 minutes, Clinton and Branford under 20.
