Rachel and Bill were a serious dream to work with. We met at their house a few feet from the Madison, CT shoreline and walked down for our maternity session. I have actually photographed on this beach before, but Rachel showed me some new and amazing spots. We strolled the beach, stopping for photos here and there, and laughed. A lot. There were a few times when I asked them to climb into the freezing water and they did so willingly and happily.
One of my favorite things to hear about from parents-to-be is how they learned of their pregnancy and how they told their families. Rachel and Bill actually video taped sharing the news with thier folks using a framed ultrasound picture and a onesie with the baby’s due date. So so so cute! I love watching parents’ faces when they learn their kids are expecting a baby!
Seeing Rachel for the first time was jaw-dropping. She is a glowing, happy mommy-to-be and other than her adorable baby bump, you could barely tell! Except for the permanent smile on her face.
