Each year I look for new themes or moments to capture and offer mini sessions. Mini sessions are a great way to grab a few updated photographs of your family for Christmas cards, Mother’s Day gift or just to make sure you are capturing your growing family. While they’re not always the right choice for every family, they’re a great alternative if you’re on a budget or want a themed option in between your family’s photography sessions.
This year I hosted Mommy and Me photography sessions to celebrate the moms in our lives. As a mom to two little girls myself (and I dare not forget the Yorkie and Boxer who are constantly by my side), I know what it’s like to look back and realize that I’ve snapped about 1 million photos of the girls or the girls and their daddy. Yet I am rarely in the photos myself.
Mommy and me sessions are a wonderful way to capture the love between a mama and her cubs. Check out the gorgeous images below from a few of the sessions.
