Miss Charlotte and her family met me at the Madison portrait studio in CT for their newborn portraits. Charlotte was seriously the cutest with all that hair! I could not get enough of her pouty lips and chubby cheeks. Born on August 12th at 8lbs 6.4 oz and 21.25 inches long, Charlotte captivated her family from first sight with her beauty (not exactly a surprise once you see her gorgeous mama and handsome daddy). I was lucky enough to be chosen as their ct newborn photographer – a decision I never take lightly and am always grateful for.
Charlotte Grace’s name has a lot of meaning to her family. Here is what her mama wrote:
We chose Charlotte because it is a perfect compliment to my first name, Amalie. The two names are connected, as the origin is from the main town in St. Thomas, called Charlotte Amalie. I was named after this town, as my parents had their honeymoon there and fell in love with it. Grace we chose as this is a family name on Bryan’s side of the family, that has been passed down through generations.
Along with their first human-born newborn baby girl, Charlotte’s fur-sibling, Miss Fiona, joined us for Charlotte’s newborn photography session. She was probably one of the most well-behaved puppies I have ever met and already so in love with their newest addition to the family.
