Believe it or not, this was my second 10th wedding anniversary photoshoot this Fall! I absolutely love it when families celebrate and commemorate the years spent together by capturing their family. It is so magical.
I met Amanda and Todd back in October 2013! That’s over 7 years ago!!! They were expecting their first baby boy and I was newly pregnant with our second baby. We clicked so quickly and talked non-stop during the photoshoot and for years after. Fast forward to today and I’ve photographed 3 pregnancies and 3 newborns for them, not counting all the family photoshoots in between! When I say that this family is amazing would be an understatement. I love love love being their photographer and seeing their family grow together.
When Amanda suggested Wadsworth Falls State Park in Middletown CT because it was the place they were married, I immediately said yes. Amanda has a history of introducing me to some of my favorite photography locations so I did not even question it. I arrived early enough to peek around and we explored all the locations that brought memories to her and Todd, as well as those little spots that bring out the best light.
