“We used Kat for maternity and newborn pictures for our first baby and just recently had maternity pictures for our second baby—this time with a stubborn 3 year old. I was so worried my daughter was going to decide she didn’t want to take pics and ruin the session. She didn’t stand a chance with Kat! My daughter warmed up to Kat quickly and ended up doing amazing thanks to Kat’s obvious expertise and experience of working with kids. I’m not nervous about the newborn photos anymore because I know Kat will work her magic once again! We are so fortunate to have such a talented photographer close to us to create works of art our family will treasure forever. New Haven CT county offers so many gorgeous locations that look amazing no matter what time of year. When to book your maternity photographer in ct
Maternity sessions are usually booked early in the pregnancy (around 12-20 weeks along) and are done around 30-35 weeks. Let’s work together to find the sweet spot for your session.
Newborn sessions are usually scheduled for 5-15 days after birth. And since we cannot actually predict when the baby arrives, only a limited number of sessions are booked for each month. To make sure that you are on the calendar, reach out early in your pregnancy (I recommend around 13-20 weeks). however, sometimes dates free up last minute due to the unpredictability of delivery, so do not hesitate to reach out when you’re ready.
