Sweet Paige came to see me for her 6 month milestone photography session! I first photographed Paige in her mama’s belly for a maternity photography session at Hammonassett in Madison CT. We finally met when she came to see me for her newborn photography in my Madison CT studio. Now she was back for her 6 month photos!
I absolutely love this age for babies. Around 6-7 months babies often begin to sit up and love their newfound freedom to play. Paige is a particularly happy baby and it’s so much fun to spend time with her. She even let us change her multiple times!
Usually milestone photography sessions are kept to about 20 minutes since most babies get tired and bored easily. Paige let us play with her for over half an hour!

Maternity portraits are usually booked when you are 12-20 weeks along and scheduled around 32-36 weeks of pregnancy. Newborn portraits are usually booked to hold your “delivery month” when you are 12-20 weeks pregnant and scheduled once the baby arrives. The “ideal” time for newborn baby photography is between 5-15 days of age, but please do not hesitate to reach out if you’ve missed that window.
