Henry is 1! I know that I spend a lot of time talking about time flying and newborn babies turning into walking toddlers, but come on! It seems like only yesterday I was getting ready for Henry’s ct newborn photography session in then brand new home studio in Madison CT. And now? Well, now Henry is 1! A walking, talking (okay, mostly random sounds being yelled very loudly) toddler.
We met up for Henry’s cakesmash photography (is it cakesmash or smashcake? I can never get that right) session at one of my favorite locations. Our goal was to capture some family portraits as well as watch as little Henry devoured his 1st birthday cake. Max, big brother, is just as much of a ham as I remember. He loved getting his photos taken and stealing the show.
When the time came to bring out the cake, we could barely get it out of the box before Henry’s hands were in the frosting. Although I am still unsure if he ate the cake or just rubbed it into his hair teehee.
Just two little hams. Hanging out. Getting their portraits taken. Climbing ladders and so on. LOL!
By the way – mom made the cake. Seriously?
