A gorgeous outdoor maternity photography session by a Killingworth CT Maternity Photographer at Chatfield State Park
I was so excited to meet Sean and Meghan at Chatfield State Park in Killingworth CT for their maternity session. Even though our session was scheduled for January, it was a beautiful 45 degree day and we got started promptly to take advantage of the sun before it set. I love winter photography sessions so much, especially if there is some snow on the ground. Unfortunately, we missed the snow, but we did get a gorgeous sunny afternoon.
While 45 degrees is absolutely wonderful for sweaters and boots, we decided to save the maternity gown that Meghan purchased specifically for this session for the studio. After finishing up with a few of my favorite spots at the park, we went to the Madison CT studio and Meghan changed into her gorgeous gown. We finished the session in just over and hour and they left to go out for a delicious dinner nearby while I couldn’t wait to get started on viewing and editing their photos.
I hope you enjoy their session as much as I loved photographing it – and now we wait for baby N to join us! Oh, did I mention that they are waiting to find out the gender of the baby until his or her birthday? How cool is that! Want to venture a guess?
