Baby Luca visited my Madison CT newborn studio from Waterford CT at 17 days new. He was such a sleepy, happy baby that we were able to jump right in and moved through the session easily.

Ahead of all our sessions I ask parents to give me more information about what they are expecting, including any color pallets or props they wish to incorporate. Baby Luca’s mom wanted to stick to cherry, white and denim blue color schemes. I love the creativity of selecting perfect matching layers, wraps and little hats to create unique, beautifully styled setups.
All of my sessions are baby-led and take into account young siblings or other time constraints. Because we were on no time crunch and baby Luca is their first baby, we were able to have a lot more freedom in our flow. We switched between poses with Luca on his own as well as incorporating mom and dad into the photos. We were even able to get some holiday theme images so they could use them for their Christmas cards!
Waterford CT is about 25 miles away from Madison CT and I am very honored when families choose to drive to our studio for their newborn photos. Upon arrival the only thing they have to do is sit back and relax while my assistant and I take care of everything – yes, even changing poopy diapers!
