There is basically no better way to start off a new year than by snuggling a brand new baby! Today I am sharing the first newborn photoshoot of 2025 with baby Hannah in Madison CT.
This little cutie was absolutely adorable – I can’t believe the sweet little smirks that she kept giving us. And those eye lashes and adorable pouty lips! I just couldn’t get enough of her sweetness.

- The best time to start your newborn photography research is as early as you are comfortable. Start looking over newborn photographers in your area during your first trimester to figure out what style you may gravitate to.
- It is recommended that you narrow down your photographers of choice and start reaching out during your second trimester with the goal of booking someone by the end of your 2nd trimester. This gives you best chance of getting on the calendar for a photographer that may limit the number of sessions they take. It’s also really nice to have your photographer figured out before you begin your third trimester and gives you time to finalize all those final little details before the baby arrives.
- Missed the timeline? Don’t fret! No one can predict when a newborn baby will arrive and often there are spots that open up last minute – just reach out and let’s get you in for your baby’s first photoshoot.
