Living on the CT Shoreline, many of my photoshoots are usually at the beach. But the area we live in actually boasts some of the most beautiful farmland rustic locations! Check out this rustic location for Maternity photography in Madison CT.
When this expecting mama reached out asking for a more rustic location for their maternity photoshoot I knew just the spot.
I’ve been photographing at this park for over 9 years! It is by far one of my favorite locations because it offers so much and is often very quiet. From adorable covered bridge to a little pond and even a large barn. This location is so New England if you know what I mean! It is literally the most perfect location regardless of what season we are in.
One of my favorite features of this location is the light! It filters through the trees so beautifully, creating the most gorgeous images.

Whether you are looking for a more lifestyle outdoor maternity session or a studio shoot, I’ve got you covered. From rustic barns to gorgeous beaches, the CT shoreline offers a beautiful backdrop any time of the year. Our private studio is located in Madison CT and is fully stocked with everything you need to capture your growing belly.
Together we will choose a perfect location, set a date that works, and go over all of the specifics that you want from your session. Before your session you will receive a style guide to help you with wardrobe selections or you are welcome to browse through the beautiful dresses that are stocked in the studio. During your photoshoot I will guide you through a variety of poses and capture all the sweet moments in between.
After you session is completed you’ll receive an online gallery with hand selected images included in your package. Once you’ve made your selection, I will edit each image and return them within 2 weeks.
WHEN TO BOOK YOUR MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER IN CT
Maternity sessions are usually booked early in the pregnancy (around 12-20 weeks along) and are done around 30-35 weeks. Let’s work together to find the sweet spot for your session.
Newborn sessions are usually scheduled for 5-15 days after birth. And since we cannot actually predict when the baby arrives, only a limited number of sessions are booked for each month. To make sure that you are on the calendar, reach out early in your pregnancy (I recommend around 13-20 weeks). however, sometimes dates free up last minute due to the unpredictability of delivery, so do not hesitate to reach out when you’re ready.
