As a mom who values photos of her family, I understand how hard and stressful the days leading up to your photoshoot can be. Like you I spend hours trying to find the perfect coordinating outfits (that my kids will not find too itchy). The last thing that I want to do is to feel stressed on the day of the photoshoot.

When considering the photographer’s style you may see their portfolio filled with gorgeous “in the moment” images. And while there are some families that look amazing just being themselves without any instruction, that is not the always the case. In fact, I myself become incredibly awkward as soon as the camera focuses on me!
The truth is that when we see “authentic” moment on social media of families laughing – and I mean truly laughing – while still looking great do not happen just by chance.

They get nervous when they are told to just “do their thing.” Because a lot of us do not know how to look good while being silly. It’s not natural for us. We are totally fine doing all those things when the camera isn’t on us. But when that camera goes up and you hear the shutter click…you blank. You panic. You look like a deer in headlights.
I work with families to give them portrait “everyone smile at the camera” photos well as all the in-between moments that they’ll treasure forever.
My job is to help people feel and look like their best selves.
I will help you look your best in every moment. I’ll walk you through the smiling photos and then direct you to snuggle and tickle your little ones. We will play games. We will chase toddlers. We will create memories of the most amazing moments you wish to remember about this age.
