September is one of the best times to capture family portraits for many reasons:
- Sunset times are earlier, providing great opportunity for little ones not to stay up too late
- Rain is rare in September on the CT shoreline
- September sunsets are among the most beautiful
- It’s less hot then the summer – no more sweat beads for me to edit out
- It is less crowded since it’s not peak season
