I am absolutely in love with this sunrise beach maternity photography session in Madison CT. I’ve photographed this gorgeous family many times and before and I swear each session is even more amazing than the previous!
Mom mentioned to me that she would love to capture the location near their family’s beach home. This Madison beach home and area that has a ton of history and meaning to her and their family. The only tricky part? The gorgeous teal wall she wanted to capture was only visible during low tide. So we had to time the session just right! Not easy with the Spring rain storms that seem to never end. We chose a sunrise during low tide and ended up with a beautiful morning.
The sky in these photographs is seriously amazing. It’s as if the sun light is seeping through the sky.

Maternity portraits are usually booked when you are 12-20 weeks along and scheduled around 32-36 weeks of pregnancy. Newborn portraits are usually booked to hold your “delivery month” when you are 12-20 weeks pregnant and scheduled once the baby arrives. The “ideal” time for newborn baby photography is between 5-15 days of age, but please do not hesitate to reach out if you’ve missed that window.
