Jocelyn had me hanging at her every word within the first 5 minutes of our first phone call to discuss a custom ct headshot photography session that she had a vision for. While many conversations that are centered around headshots are often concentrated on the client and their particular needs, in our short conversation I felt like I not only knew Jocelyn and her history, but I found myself sharing about mine. It was an instant bond.
We spent the next few weeks in close contact, planning her custom photography session – a unique take on headshot photography that would not only allow her readers to put a face to a name, but also find ways to connect through the images. Our actual photoshoot took place at Chamard Vineyard in Clinton, CT, where we took advantage of the gorgeous light, the scenic vines and even found amazing Fall color backdrop for her headshot images. Jocelyn and I got along the way I knew we would – finishing each other’s sentences and working creatively together to reach her goals.
Jocelyn Ruggiero is a writer, host, strategist and producer. And that’s just the beginning. If you take a minute to read about her, she’s also an performer, a foodie, and a truly passionate persona that’s impossible to summarize in a few short words. I find myself lost in her story as she talks about being nourished in the womb by Pepe’s Apizza, her year in Paris, her adventures in New York and her eventual return to the CT shoreline. She’s worked with multiple newspapers and publishers, including The Boston Globe, Washington Post and Food & Wine, as well as a variety of radio and TV programs.
