Last year was one of my first years that I visited Lavender Pond Farms and I have to tell you, I was immediately hooked on their location as a perfect ct family photography location. Honestly, between the gorgeous scenery, which there was plenty, and the sweet relaxing smell of Lavender which puts even the rascalliest (nope, not a word) of toddlers at ease, who could want anything more? I know most people go for a beach session in the summer, but choosing a Lavender farm is an amazing alternative and yield absolutely gorgeous photographs that you will treasure for years and year.
This year I was happy to schedule a few family sessions at the Lavender pond farm flower field to give a little variety to my photography clients and they LOVED it!!!! It was so intriguing to watch these families feel the intoxicating calm and enjoy their family sessions. The view was beyond gorgeous and I already cannot wait to come back next summer.
I met this family for their first session with me and I could tell immediately that we were going to get along. They brought their newest family member, an absolutely perfect little black lab puppy. Since we recently adopted a boxer puppy to our family, my heart was melting. Their older fur-baby reminded me of Travis, our Yorkshire Terrier who already has to deal with so much of the boxer’s energy. The pups, and the kids!, did amazing during their session. I loved watching dad love on his newest little pup and mom, who was nervous around the bumble bees, step in to get the perfect shot.
