What could possibly be cuter than baby rolls? Nothing, I tell ya, N O T H I N G 🙂 Except maybe tiny baby smiles that happen mid-sleep. And maybe kisses from big brother. And that look that mom and dad get whenever they land their eyes on their new baby boy.
I am always so honored to be chosen as the newborn photographer to capture these amazing and very fleeting moments for parents as they welcome a new addition into their family. Hard to believe that just days later this tiny little one will already begin to change and lose some of those newborn features.
Henry and his family were such a joy to work with. Henry loved to sleep and just chill whenever he was awake. I could see where he got it from since his parents were laid back and enjoyed just spending time with their toddler and new baby. Even cooler, I got to meet Henry’s grandparents who came by to pick up his older brother. I often recommend for parents to arrange for one of the parents to leave or have someone pick up the older siblings after their portion of the session is complete. Between the small quarters, large equipment, and the heat in the studio, it’s hard for many kids, especially toddlers, to stay calm for a long time. We prioritized the sibling and family shots early on to make sure that Henry’s proud big brother could go home and his mom and dad could relax a bit while I worked with baby Henry.
