Bauer Park in Madison CT is one of my favorite places to take family photos in Connecticut. While its proximity to me is an obvious attraction, there are so many great parts of this park that make it perfect for photographers! Read why I love it, and check out some pictures from a recent Bauer Park Family Session.
The Park was established when Erwin Bauer gave his farm to the town of Madison in 1990. The old farm has several ponds on the property and beautiful community gardens. Kids love exploring the trails around the property, which make for great candid shots! In the springtime, there is even a butterfly garden!
Also on the property is an old farmhouse, barn, and covered bridge, which is my personal favorite.
