This was a second pregnancy that Amanda asked me to photograph and I am so thrilled to be her maternity photographer. When the S family were pregnant with baby Sloan, we went with a “trains” theme. For baby boy #2 we went with a “boats” theme. It took us a little while to settle on a theme and to choose our location, a marina in Westbrook, CT and I’m so glad that we took our time finding the perfect place for this maternity photo shoot. The weather decided to play along and we enjoyed a perfect afternoon.
It helped tremendously that both the toddler and the pup decided that they were going to behaved absolutely perfectly and even look at my camera now and then.
Add a mom and dad that are game to do just about anything and are completely comfortable in front of the camera and this photo shoot was like a perfect combination of successes.
And a perfect way to end our session – we watched a gorgeous sunset.
