I am often asked to explain what Lifestyle photography is. Now that’s a hard one. The definition of “lifestyle” photography is that it aims to capture real life. The rest is really up to the photographer. My lifestyle sessions are often a mix of true real-life moments, the ones where you’re not looking at the camera or posing in any way, and slightly posed moments, where I will ask you to turn around and smile or show you an idea of where I’d like you to stand or what to do.
This is a wonderful session that I had early in the morning with the T family. The kids decided to gift their parents a photography session for their anniversary and surprised them. Although everyone said they don’t like to be in front of the camera, they did amazing. Their photos are among my favorite, truly letting their love shine through.
Happy anniversary and thank you for a great session.
