Every time that families that I’ve photographed before choose me for their newborn photography makes me feel so incredibly humbled and excited. As a Madison CT Newborn photographer you know that I absolutely adore being able to snuggle adorable little newborns, but above all that, I love watching families grow. The D family has been a client for almost 3 years – both BC grads, I’ve always felt so relatable to them! No I did not attend BC (I wish!) but I’ve visited the campus a number of times when growing up nearby and 2 of my very close friends went there for college, providing me with plenty of trips to campus.
Meeting Logan for the first time during our photography session in the Madison CT studio was amazing. He is hands down the largest newborn baby I have ever photographed to date. Not only does he weigh more than most newborns I’ve met, but he is by far the longest! When mom and dad walked in the door I had to just pause and shake my head to make sure they didn’t bring me a 3 month old. Once the session got started Logan took a bit to settle and then slept a very deep sleep through majority of his session, waking up just once to eat. His big brother, who I’ve photographed a handful of times now, decided that the day of his baby brother’s newborn session was the day to act shy. Nothing a few trucks in the studio won’t fix 🙂 We played, sang, and even watched trucks fall off my head and climb up my arms and legs. Needless to say, I’m excited for this family to see their gallery. Congratulations on your newest addition, D family – you make beautiful baby boys!
