I was so excited to meet the B family after speaking to mom for the first time. They had a fun 3 year old and were due with their second baby. We talked about the fun (and the rowdiness!) of 3 year olds, expectations from the session and just life in general. She told me about their farm and animals and I was so excited to do the photo shoot at their farm.
Well, the weather had a different plan – it down poured and we wanted to keep the session date. So inside we went. Inside their gorgeous house built by dad!
I loved working with them – they were patient and happy to go along with any suggestion – like when I asked to move half of their porch furniture. And little Emma? She was an absolute doll! It was pretty blatant that she was no stranger to being photographed and was probably one of the most patient 3 year olds I’ve worked with. She listened to directions, gave me beautiful smiles, and loved on mama’s belly.
